Made by two French artists. No AI.
Doodraw is made by two French artists, Alexis and Elodie. Elodie had the idea. Alexis wrote the engine that makes every stroke move.

Alexis
Code and drawing
Alexis wrote the Doodraw animation engine by hand, in Rust, and builds the app for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Elodie
Idea and communication
Elodie came up with the idea for Doodraw and runs its organic communication on social media.
No AI
Doodraw does not generate anything. Every line on the canvas is a line you drew. What moves it is the Doodraw animation engine, which gives each stroke its own hand-drawn wobble, live, as you draw.
Under our most watched YouTube Short, people kept writing the same thing: made by two French artists, no AI. That is exactly what Doodraw is.
An engine written by hand
Doodraw does not sit on top of an off-the-shelf drawing library. Its engine is written from scratch in Rust, about 20,000 lines of it, and draws every stroke straight on the graphics chip of your iPhone, iPad or Android device. That is how a canvas full of moving lines stays smooth at 60 frames per second.
From France to Korea
We started Doodraw in France in January 2026. Today we build it from Korea.
